Written by Tiel Faulkner and originally sung by Bobbi Blake (sometime in the 1970s?), this now famous “Song Poem” tune first made me laugh, but then somehow made me it’s slave to all the gooey, sugary sweet goodness that lemon pies and buttercups can draw out of a grown man. This little tune, one of many strange and or obscure things I may often listen to, just took me down to the studio and made me play it.
